Dear Customer, since the transmitter of the headphones is built into the left headphone, and both the head and the body interfere with the Bluetooth signal, we strongly recommend wearing both a smartwatch and the cell phone on the left side of the body to avoid creating a barrier between the transmitter and receiver.
Do the headphones work with all cell phones
and smartwatches on the market?
Dear Customer, important for a faultless function and pairing of the headphones with your end device is the Bluetooth® version. Our "Sound by JBL®" headphones have Bluetooth® 5.0. Our "Powered by Earebel" headphones from the first generation still have Bluetooth® 4.1. This does not cause any problems with Apple devices, but we know that some Samsung and Huawaii phones are not downward compatible, and it can then unfortunately lead to functional difficulties. Therefore, we always recommend our "Sound by JBL®" headphones with Bluetooth® 5.0.
Can the headphones be worn without a
headband or cap?
Dear Customer, no, the headphones can only be worn in combination with Earebel headbands or caps, or our helmet pads developed with TSG. However, the headphones can be used and exchanged in all caps or headbands through the knitted-in retaining hole. So you have full flexibility depending on weather, temperature and purpose.
With which helmets can the TSG helmet pads
be worn?
Dear customer, the summerearpads fit in the following TSG helmets: Scope, Pepper, Chatter, Superlight, Status, Meta, Evolution, Recon, Skate/BMX The winterearpads fit in the following TSG helmets: Tweak, Vertice, Fly, Konik 2.0, Cosma, Lotus, Flowline Due to the extensive range of helmet manufacturers and models, we can not make a binding statement on which other helmets our helmet pads can still be integrated. However, it can be assumed that if you own a similarly shaped model, especially in the earpad area like the TSG models mentioned above, our TSG helmet pads will also fit in this model. If not, we recommend wearing our headphones in one of our thin headbands (Elite, Performance) or our thin cap (Light) under the helmet.
Can the headphones be worn while sleeping,
especially when lying sideways?
Dear Customer, yes our headphones can be used with our headbands for sleeping, even on your side. Depending on your preference, you can choose from different headbands. The Impulse headband is knitted wider and with warming and comfortable inner fleece. The Performance headband has the same width as the Impulse headband, but is made of functional polyester material. The narrowest headband with just 6cm width is the Elite headband and made of the same material as the Performance headband. We then supply additional ear pads to increase comfort when lying on your side. Here please point out in the order or write a message, then we attach these ear pads to the order.
How long does the battery of the headphones
last?
Dear Customer, the battery lasts about 8 hours at full volume and 30 hours in standby mode, depending on the outside temperature.
Are the headphones waterproof?
Dear Customer, the current headphones are not waterproof. However, they are splash-proof and sweat, rain and snow do not matter in the rules. Should the headphones actually get really wet or fall into water, the headphones should be switched off immediately and either placed near a heater to dry or carefully dried with a hair dryer.
Is it possible to make phone calls with the
headphones?
Dear Customer, yes, our headphones are a full-fledged headset with an integrated microphone and can be used perfectly for making phone calls. If you get a call, the music stops automatically and you hear it ringing in the headphones. Then either accept the call via cell phone or directly via the middle control button on the headphones.

What is the advantage of Earebel over in-ear
or over-ear headphones?
Dear Customer, the biggest advantage of Earebel over in-ear and over-ear headphones is clearly the high wearing comfort and multifunctionality of the system. The headphones rest only on the ears and thus do not exert any pressure on the ears or in the ears. The headbands and caps serve as a holder for the headphones and can be easily swapped between all models and then used depending on the weather, temperature and purpose. Thus, the headphones do not slip even when moving and do not fall out of the ears, as is often the case with in-ear headphones.
Do the headphones have a volume limit?
Dear Customer, all our headphones, i.e. the "Sound by JBL®", the "powered by Earebel" but also the "powered by AKG" headphones do not have a volume limit. To protect children's ears in particular, the volume should therefore be limited to 85 dB via the paired end device and the settings. This is now easily possible with many devices via the settings.
How long does the battery take to charge?
Dear customer, The charging time is about 2 hours and is done via the included micro USB charging cable on the computer, or e.g. with the power adapter of your smartphone at a power outlet.
